  3. Approve the Minutes of the meeting of 24th November 2022*:                                                                                          Subject to any amendments, to be approved and signed as a true record of the meeting.
  4. Reports from District & County Councillors.
  5. Outstanding Actions: To report on actions brought forward from the last meeting.
  6. Recreation Ground Matters:
  • To receive a report on the Recreation Ground Trust’s income and expenditure for the period from September 1st to November 20th
  • To discuss the quotes received for the grass cutting tender.
  • To receive an update on legionella testing and the cleaning of the shower heads.
  • To receive an update on Ashurst United FC.
  • To discuss the electricity quote renewal for the Cricket pavilion and the John Eaton hut.*
  • To receive an update on the tree for the Queen’s Green Canopy.
  • To receive an update on the potassium fix for the oak tree and its protective fence.
  • To receive an update on the rebuild/replacement of the John Eaton Hut.

 

7. Traffic speeding through Ashurst on the B2135

To review recent results from the Ashurst Speedwatch and to consider, if thought appropriate, what further steps, such as Speed Indication Devices (SIDs) and ANPR Camera Enforcement, might be taken.

 8. Broadband in Ashurst

 To receive an update on Broadband in Ashurst.

 9. Planning Applications

To comment on planning applications received from Horsham District Council - None for this meeting.

 10. Planning Decisions from HDC

To receive decisions on planning applications from Horsham District Council.

 11. Payments and bank reconciliations

(a)To review the schedule of payments since the last meeting (24th November 2022) and the latest bank reconciliations (September – November 2022)

(b)To receive a report on the Council’s income

(c) To discuss the previous Clerk’s additional support to the Council
